Celebration of the Arts: Call for Art

The Emerson’s annual Celebration of the Arts (COA) is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This event celebrates art and culture with an evening full of quick-draw artists, live and silent auctions, fine dining, drinks, dancing and merriment! This year’s COA will be held on January 26, 2018.

We are soliciting original art donations for this year’s auctions. We are excited to acknowledge the artists who support the Emerson by having a special exhibition in the Jessie Wilber Gallery prior to the event. This will give the community a preview of the work available for live and silent auction and give much deserved recognition to the artists.

The exhibit will be comprised of selected works from submissions received. The chosen artists will be celebrated during an opening reception held during the December 8 Art Walk. The exhibit will run from December 8, 2017 – January 26, 2018. All proceeds from the live and silent auctions go toward the Emerson’s art education, exhibits and restoration projects.

The deadline for exhibit applications is 5 PM on October 30, 2017. Late donations will be accepted for auction but not guaranteed a place in the exhibit. For complete information and the application please visit the Emerson Call for Art page or.contact:
