For more than 40 years, The Intermountain Opera Association has been presenting operas in Bozeman, and while the Covid-19 pandemic has required them to change their traditional approach, it has not deterred them from inspired, creative ways of bringing opera to the people of Gallatin Valley and Montana.

We spoke with Executive Director, Jackie Vick, and Interim Artistic Director, Michael Sakir, about their upcoming free concert, “FROM THE HEART: SONGS OF LOVE & COMFORT” at the Emerson Crawford Theater on November 6 & 7, featuring tenor, John Reisen, mezzo-soprano, Gillian Lynn Cotter, and pianist, Kyle Naig.
