The third Power of We forum on Violence in our Culture focused on the “Castle Doctrine” and on some quantitative data regarding violence in Bozeman. Presentations were made by two speakers.

Larry Jent is a lawyer with Williams & Jent. He was a member of the Montana House of Representatives from 2001-2006 and is currently a member of the Montana Senate. He also serves as a hunting safety instructor.

Ron Price is the Chief of the Bozeman Police Department. He has been a police officer for 36 years. Ron holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Washington University with a focus on Social Sciences. He is committed to helping provide services and education to impact domestic violence issues and serves on the board of directors of HAVEN.
