Our mission is to record events and performances of interest to listeners in the Gallatin Valley and surrounding area. But a new web site created by the MSU Library makes us aware of a broader spectrum of sounds worth preserving. The Acoustic Atlas features recordings of wildlife and natural phenomena, such as bison, sage grouse, or Yellowstone hot springs. Though wordless, they have much to tell us.
