Balancing Natural Resources and Urbanization in Gallatin County

Land Resources and Environmental Science senior capstone students at MSU were asked by local land managers and planners to address a number of questions around potential conflicts between natural resources and urbanizing Gallatin County (including Bozeman and Belgrade). Topics included wetlands, landscape disturbance, urbanization, and groundwater. The students researched those questions and presented their findings and recommendations at an open meeting, introduced by Professor William Kleindl. Final papers will be available at the capstone website.

Recorded at the Bozeman Public Library on November 28, 2018.
