The Citizen’s Climate Lobby (CCL), including the Bozeman chapter, has been working for nearly a decade to build a clean carbon plan through a bipartisan group of legislators to promote a carbon fee assessment on oil, coal and natural gas at the first point of sale, with a 100% dividend back to the majority of US families. The CCL hosted an event at the Bozeman Public Library to explain the bipartisan bill “HR7173 Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act,” which was introduced in the US House of Representatives on November 27, 2018.
