Jessica Ahlstrom is the Water Conservation Specialist for the City of Bozeman. Her work focuses on community outreach where she educates residents about Bozeman’s water supply, drought risk, and the importance of water conservation in ensuring a reliable water supply for the future. Here she describes Bozeman’s approaches to water management, actions and programs that citizens can take advantage of to conserve water and save money. She also discusses the elements of the city’s Drought Management Plan.
