Woody Moses on Orcas in Puget Sound

J Shell interviews Woody Moses about orcas in Puget Sound. Woody has always lived near the coast and has enjoyed exploring its wonders. Woody earned a B.A. in Biology from Vassar College and then moved back to the Pacific Northwest for an M.S. in Biological Oceanography at Oregon State University. He moved to Seattle in 2003 to be a biology instructor at Highline College, and has worked there ever since. Upon moving to Western Washington, he discovered the magic of the mountains and spends his free time exploring the wonders of the Salish Sea and the majesty of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains. When he’s not exploring the outdoors, he continues to teach several classes at Highline College including Marine Biology, Environmental Science and Evolution. Over the years, he has become an expert on the orcas in Puget Sound.
