In the last day, Montana reported two new cases of COVID-19, both in Lewis & Clark County, for a total of 541 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. This followed almost eight weeks without a confirmed case in Lewis & Clark County. Both cases are men in their 50s. One of the men contracted the disease from someone in Idaho and the other contracted it from a resident of another Montana county. statewide, 68 people have been hospitalized and one person is currently being treated in the hospital for COVID-19. There have been 163 cases so far in Gallatin County. Sadly, another person has died of COVID-19 in Montana, bringing the total to 18 the number of people who have died in Montana of coronavirus infection.
