Michael & Paula Webster traveled throughout South America during a recent five year period in a search for birds and other wildlife – from their home in Leicestershire in the heart of England. In those five years, Michael & Paula traveled in their tiny four wheel camper all over South America, visiting national parks and other preserves from Tierra del Fuego in the south to Colombia in the north. They traveled 100,000 kms, viewing the penguins of Patagonia, up through the hummingbirds of the Equator and on to the Caribbean coast of Colombia. They have produced a series of videos on a pro bono basis for wildlife conservation organizations there and have recently authored a book to be published in the U.S. in May of this year chronicling their adventures titled The Condor’s Feather. This is Part 1 of a two part interview, covering that part of South America south of the Equator.
