On the evening of October 20, 2026, The Museum of the Rockies’ Hager Auditorium was filled to capacity by an enthusiastic crowd, who had come to hear a conversation between The Extreme History Project’s doyenne, Crystal Allegria, and award winning Bozeman author, Betsy Gaines Quammen, discussing her latest book, THIS HAUNTED LAND: RECKONING WITH GHOSTS AND THE STORIES THAT SHAPE AMERICA, published by Torrey House Press.

It was co-sponsored by the Bozeman Public Library, The MSU History Club, and of course, The Extreme History Project.
