On Oct. 16, 2019, the Young Professionals Advisory Council and Forward Montana sponsored a forum covering the ballot issues and candidates appearing on the ballot in the Bozeman election. The forum was held in the City Commission Room at City Hall.

The ballot issues are

• Approve a bond to fund construction of a new county Law and Justice Center
• Make elections for certain county seats non-partisan (meaning party affiliation wouldn’t be printed on ballots)

County Commissioner Don Seifert provided information on the bond issue, and Emma Bode of Forward Montana provided information on the non-partisan election issue.

All three candidates for the open City Commission seat were present: Michael Wallner, Zachary Krumm, and Mark Egge.

Both candidates for Mayor were present: Brian LaMeres and Cyndy Andrus.
