On May 4, 2025 at the Bozeman Events Center, Bozeman Tenants United hosted an informational panel about their campaign to institute a tenants’ right to legal counsel in Bozeman. It featured The Coordinator of The National Coalition for the Civil Right to Counsel, John Pollack, who had just flown in from Alabama; Bozeman Tenants United Organizer, Connie Howell; Montana Legal Services Association Senior Attorney for Housing, Amy Hall; HRDC’s Emergency & Supportive Housing Director, Brian Guyer; Charlie Cromwell, managing partner of Cromwell Law, as well as MSU adjunct professor and who has been providing legal services via the ASMSU legal services program; and Bozeman Deputy Mayor, Joey Morrison. The panel was moderated by Bozeman Tenants United Campaigns Director, Olive Sohn.
