Jay is joined by Casey McLean, the executive director of Sea Life Response, Rehabilitation, and Research Center (SR3) in Des Moines, WA. Casey is a licensed veterinary technician and has a degree in marine biology and a long standing passion and experience in marine animal medical care, rehabilitation, and conservation. Casey has worked on rehabilitation of sea turtles, wildlife, and marine mammals for over 12 years. She is an active member of the Marine Animal Stranding Network in the Puget Sound, and works on a variety of marine animals including stranded seal pups, sea otters, and sea lions. Casey is also a trained oil spill respondent.
