There are 458 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Montana, with two new cases in the last day. Both cases were reported in Gallatin County, bringing the total there to 148 cases. There have been 62 hospitalizations for coronavirus infection throughout the state, and 6 people are currently hospitalized.

Governor Bullock announced new guidance to allow gyms and fitness centers, theaters, and museums the option to reopen starting Friday, May 15. There are a number of requirements the facilities should meet to minimize the risk of coronavirus transmission.

On Saturday night, Montana State University will light the cupola and roof of Montana Hall to celebrate their new graduates. The graduation ceremonies will be held via teleconference May 7 – May 9. MSU’s spring graduates have been invited to attend fall commencement on Dec. 19.
