Ranger Norm Bishop spent thirty years in Yellowstone National Park. He has lots of stories to tell. Norm worked through the fire season of 1988 when fires raged through the Park. He saw visitorship climb to larger and larger numbers, and witnessed the significant change in the Park’s bear policy. Now, in retirement, Norm maintains a dedicated interest in a great variety of wildlife, wilderness and environmental issues, and is a frequent letter writer to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle.
