J Shell is joined by Phil Knight. Phil is a naturalist and guide who moved to Bozeman in 1985, fleeing a life of indolence and sloth back East. His love of forests and determination to keep trees out of lumber mills has taken him to some wild and remote places, and gotten him in all kinds of trouble. He has fallen out of several trees and had his life threatened by a cow moose guarding her calf. Phil guides groups of adventurous tourists in various places in the Rocky Mountains. They talk about some great places Phil has explored.
