Solidarity Gathering for the Tree of Life Synagogue

On October 27, 2018, 11 members of the Jewish faith were massacred at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, in what is said to have been the worst incident of violence against Jews in US history. The alleged gunman is reported to have purchased his three Glock 357 handguns and AR-15 assault rifle legally, under current Supreme Court rulings. Among his eleven victims, was Rose Mallinger, aged 97, who had survived the state orchestrated, depravity of the Holocaust under the Nazi’s Third Reich, only to be murdered by an American while praying.

The next afternoon, October 28th, here in Bozeman, an interfaith group of local citizens came together for a solidarity gathering at Congregation Beth Shalom, to demonstrate support for the Bozeman Jewish Community, as well as to comfort one another after a shocking week of violence, and the threat of violence, and to come together in peace.
