A debate between the candidates for Montana’s U.S. House seat that was held on Saturday evening, May 2. The debate was sponsored by Montana Farmers Union, United States Cattlemen’s Association, Montana Cattlemen’s Association and Northern Plains Resource Council.
The first segment of the debate featured the Republican candidates: Joe Dooling, John Evankovich, Debra Lamm, Mark McGinley, and Corey Stapleton. (Candidate Matt Rosendale did not participate.)
The second segment featured Democratic candidates Kathleen Williams for Montana and Tom Winter. Questions focused on agricultural topics such as country-of-origin labeling, healthcare and COVID-19 as it relates to agriculture.
The debate was moderated by Jim Sargent.
