Montana Insurance Commissioner Monica Lindeen spoke about the Affordable Care Act and its effects at the Wonderlust Friday Forum on November 8 at noon at the Pilgrim Congregational Church.

Questions she addressed included the following:

• Who will benefit from the ACA and how will they benefit? Who will not benefit?
• How well is the enrollment process working in Montana?
• How was the Medicaid expansion supposed to work, what does Montana’s failure to pass it mean, and what are the prospects for the issue’s being addressed in the next legislature?
• Is the ACA likely to have significant impacts on health care costs?
