The abundance and diversity of Yellowstone’s bird life is often overshadowed by it’s large mammals. In a special lecture sponsored by Sacajawea Audubon, Yellowstone Park Wildlife Biologist Doug Smith highlighted the newest research on Common Loons, Trumpeter Swans, Golden Eagles, and more. He described what has been learned from long term studies about the effects on bird populations of changing fish and predator relationships, climate change, and human impacts.
Recorded on December 10, 2018 at the Ellen Theatre.
